We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year — including all holidays — because emergencies don't follow a schedule, and neither do we.

Priority Emergency Center was born out of a frustration shared by too many Austinites — long waits, overcrowded hospitals, and impersonal care during the most stressful moments of their lives. Our founder, Dr. Montadher Alwazni, MD, set out to create something better.
His vision was simple: build an emergency center that puts patients first — with the full capabilities of a hospital ER, but the speed, attention, and warmth of a private physician. That vision became Priority Emergency Center.

Dr. Montadher Alwazni, MD is the founder of Priority Emergency Center Austin ,TX and a dual board-certified physician in both Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine a rare combination that allows him to treat patients across all age groups with unmatched depth of expertise. He established Priority Emergency Center driven by a singular commitment — to give every patient in Austin access to immediate, high-quality emergency treatment with no wait and no compromise. Under his leadership, Priority Emergency Center has become Austin's most trusted freestanding ER.
