Yes — our doors never close. Priority Emergency Center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year — including all evenings, weekends, and every holiday. We are always here when you need us most.
A freestanding emergency room is an independent ER facility that delivers the same comprehensive emergency care, diagnostics, and physician expertise as a hospital ER — without the long waits, large crowds, or the need for hospital admission. We are fully licensed and equipped to handle true emergencies.
Emergency rooms — including ours — handle life-threatening and severe emergencies 24/7 with board-certified emergency medicine physicians and full diagnostic capabilities (CT, X-ray, lab). Urgent care clinics treat minor, non-emergent issues during limited hours with restricted diagnostic tools.
Any condition that a reasonable person believes could cause serious harm, permanent injury, or death if not treated immediately. This includes chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, strokes, seizures, major fractures, and more. When in doubt — come in or call us at (737) 423-2311.
We provide thorough stabilization and observation care. If hospital inpatient admission is required, our team coordinates a seamless and safe transfer to the hospital of your choice — ensuring continuity of your care throughout the process.
No appointment is required — you are always welcome to walk in at any hour. If you would prefer to reserve a time slot and minimize wait time, you may also book online in advance. Either way, we are ready for you the moment you arrive.
Please bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card or a payment method, a current list of medications you are taking, and any relevant medical history. If you have prior imaging or test results related to your current issue, bringing those can also be very helpful.
Most of our patients are evaluated by a board-certified emergency medicine physician within 10 minutes of arrival. We pride ourselves on fast, attentive care — with no unnecessary delays.
Every patient at Priority Emergency Center is always seen and evaluated by a board-certified emergency medicine physician — not a physician assistant, not a nurse practitioner. You receive expert physician care every single visit.
Booking in advance reserves your time slot, helps minimize your wait, allows us to pre-verify your insurance before arrival, and lets our clinical team begin preparing for your specific needs — making your visit faster and more efficient.
We offer a full suite of on-site imaging including CT scans, digital X-ray, MRI, and ultrasound — all available 24/7. Emergency imaging requires no appointment. Non-urgent diagnostic scans can be scheduled in advance for your convenience.
Our on-site CLIA-certified laboratory and point-of-care testing operate around the clock. STAT lab results — such as troponin, CBC, and metabolic panels — are typically available within 30 to 60 minutes, allowing your physician to make fast, informed decisions.
